Aly has been cast as the lead in a CW pilot called “Hellcats”. Cross your fingers that it gets picked up!!

Almost Famous” star Patrick Fugit has joined Debra Messing in ABC’s comedy pilot “Wright vs. Wrong.”

Melissa Rauch also has been cast in “Wright,” Tim Pepper has landed the lead in Fox’s comedy pilot “Most Likely to Succeed,” Scott Foley has joined ABC’s cop drama “True Blue,” “Past Life” co-star Nicholas Bishop is set as a lead on ABC’s drama pilot “Body of Evidence,” Aly Michalka has landed the lead and Gail O’Grady also tapped to co-star on the CW’s drama pilot “Hellcats,” and James Patrick Stuart and Cheyenne Jackson have come aboard ABC’s comedy pilot “It Takes a Village.”

“Hellcats” centers on a college girl from the wrong side of the tracks (Michalka) who, after losing her scholarship because of budget cutbacks and her mother’s (O’Grady) chronic irresponsibility, joins the Hellcats, the college’s competitive cheerleading team.

Michalka, half of pop duo Aly & AJ, starred on Disney Channel’s “Phil of the Future.” O’Grady is repped by APA and Shelter Entertainment.
